Why Spot a Mom?
Because Every Mom Counts
A Message from our Founder
This year, my daughter Erin is celebrating her very first Mother's Day as a new mom. Seeing your own baby as someone's mom takes getting used to, but the arrival of Abigail, my first grandchild, has me realizing now, more than ever, how proud I am of her and the amazing role moms play in our lives.
There are millions of moms in the United States and this Mother's day, no one should be left out of the celebration. This year, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM is starting a Spot a Mom Movement--we want to reach every mom because every mom is unique in her own little way; whether she is a mom of six, a mom of a mom, or a mom of a friend, she should be celebrated on Mother's Day--because, she's a mom.
We know we can't possibly reach every mom in time for Mother's Day without a little help! We're inviting you to ask everyone you know to spot a mom. You can spot her being a mom anywhere. When you spot a mom, make sure you tell her how much you appreciate all that she does to make our world a better place. So go out, spot her, celebrate her, but don't let the day go by without showing her you care. If everyone gets involved, no mom will be be left behind. And isn't that what mom always taught us?
